 | The nation's premier luxury homes tour, Street of Dreams®, came to Harborwalk in Spring 2006 to showcase six custom built homes in Harborwalk. With a staggering total attendance of just over 10,000, the luxurious show homes presented as "The Tidewater Collection" featured the finest custom builders in the Bay Area and the latest in interior design, artistic landscaping and state-of-the-art technology. As part of the six week lifestyle event, teams of leading interior designers, landscapers and home product suppliers designed, built, decorated and furnished these exclusive homes highlighted at Street of Dreams®.
The featured homes in Harborwalk represented the latest trends in residential bay front construction. Built on private canals with direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, the homes are designed for upscale coastal living in a marina community on West Galveston Bay. The Tidewater Collection, the set of show homes in this unique setting, are the first of their kind featured in a Street of Dreams® tour.
The developer interviewed and hired a team of consultants to provide planning, engineering and evaluations that are specific to each Harborwalk project. The developer later worked with Street of Dreams, Inc. to select a team of six builders in the bay area for the single-site luxury home tour and lifestyle event.
