Q: Who is the developer?
A: Watkins Properties. The Developer has developed numerous residential communities including Magnolia Creek Golf Links and Magnolia Creek Subdivision, a 900 acre community in League City.

Q: What about the roads at Harborwalk?
A: The residential area is concrete, built to city specifications, and it is privately owned and maintained by the Property Owners Association.

Q: What about utilities?
A: The providers are as follows
Central water & sewer: City of Hitchcock
Natural Gas: Centerpoint Energy - Entex
Underground power: Centerpoint Energy - Any provider can be used
Internet service & cable television: Comcast

Q: What are the specs on the canals?
A: The canals have varying widths ranging from 65' to 100'. The depth ranges from 7' in private canals to 10' in main canals below mean high tide. The sides slope up to the bulkhead. The canals are private and are owned by the Property Owners Association and maintained by the Flamingo Isles Municipal Utility District.

Q: Are there boathouse notches?
A: All homesites have boatnotches except for those on main channels and those on lakes.

Q: What are the specs on the West Bay access?
A:West Bay Access is maintained by Flamingo Isles Municipal Utility District. The channel has a width of 150' at the marina channel, and 75' at the South channel. Is has a depth of 9' at the marina channel and 8' at the South channel below mean high tide.

Q: What about the bulk heading?
A: The bulk heading is made of PVC sheet piling and it is owned and maintained by the Flamingo Isles Municipal Utility District.

Q: If I choose to build my home at Harborwalk, do I have a certain time frame that I must work in?
A: No.

Q: Will my boat/yacht fit?
A: Harborwalk's Marina features boat slips that accommodate boats anywhere from mid-30' to 125' at the end of the dock's T-head. The depth of the slips and the marina channel at mean tide is 9'.

Q: How far is the Harborwalk Marina from the Intracoastal Waterway?
A: 600 yards.

Q: What is the clearance of the Galveston Causeway?
A: The Galveston Causeway has a 70' horizontal clearance and a 70' vertical clearance at mean tide.

Q: What other amenities should I expect to find at the Harborwalk Marina?

Q: What will I find at the Harborwalk Ships Store?
A: You'll find Starbucks® coffee, Tazo® tea, Haagen-Dazs® ice cream, a full service deli, cold drinks, ice, snacks, beer, wine, sundry items, fishing gear, bait, boat supplies, typical convenience store items and household convenience products. You can learn more at the Ships Store page.

Q: Where is the Marina?
A: You can find and print directions by land or by sea via the Marina Location page. For reference, it's located 12 miles from Galveston, 12 miles from Clear Lake, 10 nautical miles from the Galveston Jetties, a few minutes from Offat's Bayou & Galveston's Moody Gardens, and just west of Tiki Island & Galveston's Causeway.

A: Memberships are available to property owners, boat slip tenants & transient boaters with temporary boat slips.

A: Yes.
